This is a weird bug.I'm not in a dungeon or anything, just in Crestwood at one of my camps. No matter where I go I cannot access the world map, so I'm basically stuck here after 40 hours of gameplay. Anyone have a fix for this? I restarted the game but it didn't do anything.

This is bad indeed. I am also having this problem. I have been playing for 3 hours and I do not want to back track from another save. I dont want to waste my 76 hours game time for this. The patches should have fixed everything and now it seems we need to wait for another patch. I hope there is a work around. In regards to the Sera quest. I have done that a long time ago and had no problem with the Crestwood map. It happend upon entering Crestwood for shards and other side quests. Now I cant leave.

Update: Loaded another save game to escape Crestwood. Ended up having to collect the reward for Sera's quest which also happened to be in Crestwood, couldn't leave again. Crestwood is definitely glitched.

Is there anyway to get out without reloading a save? I played around Crestwood for a few hours before I noticed the bug, and I really don't want to lose it all.

Unfortunately, no. :c I'm sorry. Don't finish Sera's quest, either. It'll end up teleporting you there.

I would imagine that ordinarily a person would simply complete Sera's Crestwood quest/mission retrieve the reward and that should cause the game to offer the 'World Map' option. I'd guess that something in code isn't setting the flag appropriately to display the World Map button upon completion of the mission.I would considder loading my old save game but the problem is that Sera is my character's LI/RI (Love Interest) as such, I don't see a way around this problem until it gets patched or until a workaround can be found. Until then I guess I will be hanging out in Crestwood for a while until a patch is finally released Or a workaround is made available.

Unfortunately, no. :c I'm sorry. Don't finish Sera's quest, either. It'll end up teleporting you there.

I had this problem when attemping sera's mission. I just kept reloading a previous save until her mission decided to not bug out then I was able to use the map again.

I don't know how you could complete this quest, but I found out how to leave Crestwood. Simply travel to one of the area travel points, not the fast travel pyramids, the the opposing arrows travel point.

I Have the same problem so now I just go to the south road with the double ended arrow. They really need to fix this

I also have this problem. Haven't unlocked Crestwood yet but I got a mission from Sera that takes me there after you complete that march operation at the war table. I go there kill like three people and then subtitles come up like someone is talking. When I go up the hill there's nobody and I can't leave. Threre's no exit and the world map option doesn't appear. Tryied reloading a couple times. I hope a fix comes soon.

This is soooo bad I have the same problem and I'm onXbox 1 and I thought maybe if I completed everything it would let me leave I was definitely wrong crestwood for life

Ok so after the third try the Sera mission actually worked. It seems there is suppose to be a guy standing next to a rock build fence and he wasn't there before. Once your done deciding his fate you automatically go back to skyhold. I haven't actually unlocked Crestwood so can't say if you can leave or what but I hope it gets fixed by the time I do get there.
