Character not showing up in Origin profile

Hi Answer HQ,

I'm about 3/4 way through a Dragon Age Origins playthrough, and with the recent announcement that character profiles from previous games can be uploaded to the DA keep I was hoping to do so with this character. However, no matter what I do the character does not show up under my player profile. It says number of characters is 0. I have the option checked to upload profile data, but I did some googling and read that this can occur if the "Upload Character" option is not chosen during character creation. It's possible that I didn't choose this option when making my character, so is there any way to change this now? Unfortunately I'm in the middle of my Uni semester and I won't have the time for another full playthrough before DAI comes out. I'm aware that you can recreate your game state using the keep, but I really wanted to be able to import my character if possible. So is there any way to get it to upload to Origin?

Thanks for any help.

After some further investigation it seems my problem might be due to having played DA2 before DAO. This apparently makes it so that your profiles for DAO do not sync correctly. No one seems to have a current fix for this issue, so if anyone knows how to resolve this please let me know.

    Thanks again.
