Collectors Edition + Awakening problem

I have bought several years ago the Dragon Age Origins Collectors Edition.

Now when I install the game again through Origin software, it will install the DAO Digital Deluxe Edition, but I have no option to install Awakening.

Also several DLC are not visible!

When I download the dazip files for the DLCs, this works fine and I can add them with the updater and they give no error or anything.

But what to do with Awakening, is there also a download for a dazip file?

I remember when it was still a steam account when I bought the software, all was working normal and everything was installed....

Hope anyone can help me, I know there are some posts regarding this issue, but none showed really the exact problem/solution.

Thanks!

    @platertje If you open the game details page for DAO and scroll down, is Awakenings visible there? If you click it, do you get any download options?

    I get the option to buy it for 9.99 as an expansion.

    But it was included in the collectors edition...

  • Err..  DAA wasn't part of the "Collector's Edition".  Not in either the US or the UK release.  The "Collector's Edition" had the base game and some "in-game items", but the only game-play DLC was "The Stone Prisoner".

    Here's the Wiki entry:

    =======================================================

    The Dragon Age: Origins Collector's Edition is the premium edition of the game Dragon Age: Origins that was available at $59.99 for the PC or $74.99 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It is available without extra cost for players who purchase the digital Collector's Edition. It is a limited edition release and may no longer be available in stores.

    The premium edition's contents include the game and a bonus DVD, and is packaged in a metal tin or a wooden case. It also includes codes for downloadable content that grant players access to three exclusive in-game items.

    In addition, first hand owners of the game are also given access to other downloadable content - The Stone Prisoner and Blood Dragon Armor.

    =======================================================

    And here's the Description from Amazon.co.uk:

    =======================================================

    Product Description

    3 exclusive in-game items. Unlockable bonus quest and character. Bonus DVD, featuring: Making of featurette Concept art Game soundtrack Exclusive wallpapers * Advertised downloadable content offer expired on April 30th 2010.

    Currently unavailable.
    We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock.

    =======================================================

    Now if you mean the "Ultimate Edition", that's a different story...

    Here though is an overview of what I bought, from the Origin Customer Portal:

    Collector’s Edition Pack,Dragon Age:

    Origins - Awakening Uitbreidingspakket,

    Dragon Age: Origins Digital Deluxe Edition

    Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening Uitbreidingspakket Pc-download

    Aant.: 1

    29,99 €

    Voltooid

    29,99 €

    Dragon Age: Origins Digital Deluxe Edition Pc-download

    Aant.: 1

    24,99 €

    Voltooid

    24,99 €

    "Voltooid" means completed = paid.

    I can also remember playing Awakening back in 2010 for 100%.

  • Ahhhh... So DAA was a separate purchase, and you have a record of it.

    Then you need "official" support from the EA Game Advisors.
    They are the only ones who can do anything about accounts, product codes, and authorizations.
    You can contact them using the Help Center, (link in the top-right of every page here on the AHQ.)

    After getting to the Help Center and filling out the required information, (Product/Problem/Platform)
    look for the "Chat Now", "Call Me / Call Now", or "Email Now" buttons, not the AHQ "Ask Now" one.

    (You've already done that.)

    The exact options you see will vary depending on your region and the time-of-day.  😕mileyfrustrated:

    If you select "Chat Now", (or "Call Now" if that is an option for you) be sure to have enough time to wait.
    I always expect it to take an hour before I'm connected to someone, and am pleasantly surprised when it's less.

    Good Luck!ns.
