Conversation Freeze
Once I got to a certain point (just after doing the first Hawke mission) it seems every important conversation is freezing up. The game is clearly still running as the music and background isn't free...

I, too, encountered this.
One possible workaround is to simply sit and wait. That's what I did, and the conversation resumed several minutes later. Well, at least that's what has worked for me not only in the Hawke mission, but others, too, where this annoying bug pops up.
I did this and eventually they do skip to the next dialogue, however it happens in shortly in the next scene, don't want to say too much without spoiling the game.
Glad to hear EA is hard at work fixing this game breaking issue.
