DA: I savefile transfer

I already have DA:I standard edition and I'm willing to buy the GOTY edtion because it's cheaper than if I buy the 3 DLCs, thing is: The save files will be useless.

Is there ANYWAY to recyle the savefiles from the standard edition to the newly acquired GOTY edition? Thanks in advance!

No, the saves will not be useless, When you go to the GOTY, it acts as if you added DLC or updated the game you have installed. (Yes you get a new Icon in Origin and on the desktop but, it uses the saves folder in Documents, same as the original game so, in effect, it feels like and update with DLC added when you run the game.)

  • I don't want to act like an * here, but the support guy told me otherwise. Can I trust your info? If you say it's 100%, I'll believe.

    Thanks for the answer 🙂
