DA2 DLC installed but not showing in game

I have the Ultimate Edition as part of EA play. However, the DLC doesn't show up in game. No big statues, no chests. I have uninstalled the DLC files and reinstalled them as addins - nothing. I have repaired the game multiple times - nothing. I've uninstalled all mods in case that was the problem - nothing. I've tried looking to see if anyone else has this issue but I can't see this specific one  (on EA/EA Play anyway) so have no solution. Can anyone help?

    Hey @FantasticLlama 

    To confirm do the DLCs show installed with no errors? Also, did you try a new save after removing mods by chance?

  • Hi 

    Yes, they are installed and there are no errors. They all show up in the downloadable content tab on the home screen in game, as well as showing up as add-ons in the EA app. I just don't know what's wrong and it's really frustrating! 

    Also, when I uninstalled the mods, I uninstalled the DLC, repaired the game, then reinstalled them and started a new game, as I'd seen someone recommend this years ago. It still didn't work!! Is this one of those cases where DLC might only show up in Act 2???

    Hey @FantasticLlama 

    Apologies for the delay, to confirm have finished the prologue?

    If so, can we try the following and relaunch the game to see if the DLC is enabled?

    Delete EA License Files:

    • Make sure the EA app is closed.
    • Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
    • Type or copy and paste "%ProgramData%\Electronic Arts\EA Services" (without the quotes) into the new Window > ENTER
    • Enable View Hidden Files and Folders
    • Delete all files in the "License" folder.

  • Yeah, so I have spent two days with support on the same issue. I explained it in detail to them, and I took the same steps as you did before I contacted them. They elevated it to the next level of support, who came back and said "no fix". The support person then said,"Let me extend my apologies." and that was it. So I told them they know that the DLC content doesn't show up and doesn't work, and entice people to buy it thinking they are getting it, and then offer their apologies when it doesn't work, even though they knew it wouldn't. Classic.

    It is not a general problem that happens to all players, but account or system related.

    Are the DLCs shown as installed in EA app and in game for you as well?
