@nikkeh04 Doesn't sound like the typical way it presents, but since you have a Nvidia graphics, have to ask, are you using AVG? Nvidia, AVG and DAI have not gotten on since around May this year, luckily it's easily fixed by either temporarily disabling AVG, adding an exception to it for DAI (if you need instructions on how to do that, see the accepted solution to the AVG sticky post at the top of this board) or getting rid of AVG and replacing it with something less problematic.
Nothing in your dxdiag stands out to me, your system should have no issues running the game. Is your GPU overclocked at all? Even factory overclocked? I know that has been known to cause issues for some people. Though it would be weird if it suddenly decided to dislike that after 200+ hours. Speaking of, has anything changed in your system lately? Windows updates, new software or hardware, anything like that?
If you even slightly suspect overheating could be the issue (I used to have that problem on my old Nvidia GPU, it just caused CTD, no error messages or black screens), it's easily checked by using a program such as HWMonitor.
Ok so it's been a while, and i've still had no luck with playing DAI on origin (it's ok, it was in the Xbox black Friday sale for a tenner) however, I have been playing skyrim on my PC instead and the problem seems to be persistent.
So i don't think that it's a problem with origin or the game, but maybe my computer? Looking at my specs do you think there is anything i should be concerned about or should have a look at. 😕 this is really getting on my tits as i have had no luck determining what the problem is or how to solve it.
