DA:I for the PC - No prompt for world state import

Hey guys!

I just installed Dragon Age: Inquisition on my computer (DVD version through Origin). Previously I made sure that all my Dragon Age Keep data is properly set and imported for Dragon Age: Inquisition. The game patched and Origin downloaded my DLC without any issues; when I boot up the game it connects me to the Dragon Age Servers and multiplayer mode is available and playable.

However, whenever I create a character and I reach the last option before customizing the looks, no prompt for a world state import shows up at all. There is a friendly message, that reminds me that I can log in to the Dragon Age Keep and create my own world state though.

Before you guys ask, it's definately the right OriginID/email address. I tried it on my friends Playstation 4 and it lets me import my world state without any issues.

Is there even supposed to be a prompt on the PC version or does it just TAKE my data and show it as "Default World State"? I've read some topics about the name being wrong and whatnot... but the last Let's Play video I checked also had a prompt for the world state import.

Thanks in advance,

Ferrod

I just received some help from the EA customer service in the UK and apparently it's a known issue that not many players seem to experience. There's no prompt for the world state import and it says that you're using the "Default World State", however it's actually importing the right data in the background.

You can verify if it works by creating your character, saving the game and logging in to the Keep. Then in the "menu", click "World States" and switch to the second page. There you should be able to find "Playthrough States", which are related to your actual Dragon Age: Inquisition save/playthrough.

You can copy the latest playthrough state to the "editable states" and check the tapestry out to make sure everything's fine. :-)

Well, apparently that didn't end up working. After the first hour of game time I reached a point where they mentioned the wrong ruler of Ferelden for me. The "Playthrough States" I mentioned must've been created through the Playstation 4... :-(

I was having this issue for PC...did everything correctly on Keep, but wasnt ever loading my custom state when creating a new game -- was being forced to use 'Default World State' each time.

Well, it turned out it my AV product's firewall was at fault -- needed to tweak its configuration and everything worked.

Wrong world state here as well. Any reply on this? Any news at all?
