Are there going to be any patches for DA:I's mutiplayer? I want to enjoy playing with my friends but everytime we try to get together and play we are swamped by gameplay issues. For example movement ...
I recently noticed that I can pick out cloaked units, they produce a bit of a warped background effect where they walk, and if you can hit them they decloak. Just a little tip player to player ; )
P.S.
Do you think the venatori and their commander are a bit weak?
Aye, I like that the ripple is visible, but only if you're focusing on it. While ideally they'll be focused down as a priority, if that's not possible putting a dot with a visual effect on the Shadow can also help. A blurry flame conspiculously sauntering past the tank is easy enough to pick out.
I'd definitely consider the Venatori to be easier than demons, but on higher difficulty levels their archers do insane damage. A shield tank and los/aoe combo can make short work of them, but it can go wrong very quickly.
For commanders specifically, I'd rank the Venatori in the middle. Demon Commander is hard and gives me real-life nightmares, whereas while the Red Templar commander hits like an angry truck, he's slow & clumsy and therefore relatively easy to avoid.
I'd have to say that the ranged enemies of all the factions do insane amounts of damage in higher dificulties. Particularly when multiple archers focus on one person, it only gets a little frustrating. My problem with the Red Templar boss is that at some point he gets tired of your long distance relationship and the only way to avoid meeting face to face is to sprint around the nearest corners, 2 of them preferably.
The Venatori commander does not seem to deal as much damage as either of the other two bosses but she is more mobile seeing as how she can teleport. I think her health should be raised a little in routine and threatening dificulties, as it is she is the only boss that I've seen can be consistently killed before the supporting troop waves are exhausted.
Nothing in this game bothers me more about MP than the following 2 things.
Have chests only been giving you one class type's gear? I've noticed that I mostly get warrior gear (either weapons or upgrades) and my friend mostly gets bows or other rogue related items. I primarily play hunter/necromancer and my friend played legionnaire/reaver.
