I know this thread is super old, but I encountered this problem today... How exactly do I change the patch number higher? I can't find anywhere a spot to change it.
EDIT. Okay so I was able to change the version but now my mods don't show up. What can I do?
If you use mods go to your modmanager and make sure your mods are how you want them, then click merge and let the files merge. Once completed the patch will be updated. To the game if you played the game with mods uniinstall then reinstall then to the game the patch is out of date, even when the patch is the most current. I had the probelm too. Once I remerged my mods the way I liked them the issue was resolved.
