DAI pin drop silence- party banter and background music (pc version)
Hi! all
So after my 1st 2 playthroughs a while back i had stopped playing the game completely coz it irritated me to not hear party banters more frequently coz, well lets face it, one of the main reasons bioware games like mass effect series, dragon age series, etc are so much fun is the interaction throughout the game's progression, whether it be via cutscenes or companions (and main player) talking to each other while travelling from point A-B. But, the way bioware has made banter in this game is rather 'foolish' for the lack of better words...its rather confusing coz players dont have a 'pin-point' idea as to whether it is the leveling after lvl11 that gets u more banters or is iit cleaning up all those unnecessary 'dots' in journal and codex manually or is it clearing the rifts...what the bloody F-ing F is it!!?? it used to be soo much more better in previous games...what did even prompt bioware to go and say "hey! lets link banter to one of these, more preferably leveling, and make banters occur over a span of 30-minutes (As we say it) while the players keep smashing their heads when they cant get party banters over a span of 1-2 hours even. will be fun, entertaining and right. MUWAHAHAHA!!!" ....and why the 30 minutes anyway!! why cant it be like dragon age 1 or 2 or masseffect 1,2 or 3 instead?...i mean..say, the party banter between Sera and Vivienne where they quarrel and annoy the inquisitor before the inquisitor can tell them to 'zip it' happens roughly over a span or 4-5 banters between them if i remember it so according to 30 minutes just for the banter im spending 2 to 2.5 hours jogging/walking around some location on the map. now if u want to squeeze time outa players playing your game there r better ways then making them wait over a span of 2.5 hours for something like this...and hell i dont even suppose this is a mindless FPS game which is endless in which case u would have to see for ways to keep people hooked for hours and hours its a bloody story-lined game. i for once though that after soo many updates may be they fixed this banter trouble and got back to the way its supposed to be instead of the 30 minute * but alas! not to my surprise it wasnt as i thought. whats funny is bioware so willingly says 'realistic' yet the only 'realistic' part here, that they and most of the gaming industry seems to be trying t o improve upon, is the look of the game not its feel, cz lets be real: if u were going out with a group u wouldnt be all so silent for 30 clock minutes and as the 30 minute mark came by u all would talk...yes!! well unless u were a robot programmed to do as such (and yet most pepole would reject the creation saying its senseless...)
(sorry! had to get it outa my system...was bugging me back then and still is coz u delay the meaningful substance for more in-game time and put loads of boring and tedious and unrealistic and kinda objective called collection (which is used only in regards of level grinding and that is not necessary in a game with a proper story that has a certain fullstop unless atleast uptill a next chapter comes by)
so the point of all that ranting is.....is there a way around this banter trouble yet!? what is it?...oh! and also, in my previous playthroughs when the 1st update had come out i had background music playing around locations but none this time around...so the new updates worsened it eh! (wouldnt be new but one would expect an 'update to rectify a * instead of converting it into *!!!) i do still get ambient sounds and the songs by the bards playing along but no background music and the ultra irritating banter issue..
thx
P.S: i know about the cheat engine workaround for the banters but for some reason having cheat engine on while i play any game what so ever gets that game to crash after 5 minutes of CE being on while im in-game so i have stopped using CE for a long time...now i have 0% clue as to why and i even asked the creator/mods on CE site but they too have no idea so CE is pretty useless to me. now is its coz i have intel HD 4000 integrated dedicated graphics instead of nvedia or amd and the memory causes the games to crash well thats sad indeed but regardless, currently that means the CE workaround is a no go for me...
