Descent Guardian Boss Fight...LMAO

Well THAT certainly caught me off guard.

First try...went after it like a dragon fight....got chewed up and spit out in seconds. hahahaha

Second try...ran a couple laps around him and noticed the bright things...nodes?

Went straight for the node with Sera and Thousand cuts...quick switch back to me for a follow up Thousand cuts.

Blackwall's Warhorn and Viv's Barrier...

I ground him up this time.

So...how many of you were taken by surprise here and how did you get past it?

This was the first time I lost everybody in a long time.

EDIT...I will add that I went after the second try after giving everybody a big gulp of super mega OP (maxed out) Regen Potion...I don't like to use it too often.

    I pretty much did the same the first time at it, tried dragon tactics - FAIL, massive face roll for my team. Second time, I got the nodes and focused my team on those. No problem, we won. Third time I was doing a solo run and survived it but, by then I knew that fight.

    The rocktopus was a very interesting fight for me. I actually got slapped off the platform by the  arms because I was mid air from hopping. The game teleported me with 10%ish HP back to the platform only to be smacked off again. This happened three or four times in a row. Lmao indeed.

    Second time went much smoother, and with no hopping.

    LOL...That happened in my first attempt too. Two or three times to postpone the inevitable.
