11 years agoSame problem on Win7 with nVidia Geforce 560 Ti, latest drivers and latest Direct X build.
What solved the problem for me was starting DA:I without Origin.
To do this: Download and run "Outcome", it's a software that "unregisters" Origin games from Origin, so everytime you launch them, they run independently from Origin.
When I launch DA:I, Origin will usually launch, too, but I can close it without any problems. There is also no Origin overlay ingame. Runs so much more stable now. When DA crashed, it would usually freeze my entire PC and I had to reset it every time. Now, WHEN the game crashes (happens rarely), it just crashes straight to desktop without any freezes.
