Dragon Age 2 Ser Isaac's Armor Not Unlocking

Okay, so I just loaded up Dragon Age 2 on my Xbox One for the first time, and I was looking through the list of unlockable items, and I noticed Ser Isaac's Armor was grayed out.

I found that weird, because I specifically chose to unlock it through the Dragon Age Keep a little while ago (before I bought DA2) once I learned that was possible. I now no longer have the option to unlock it through the Keep, but I also can't access it in game.

Can somebody at EA or BioWare or whoever maintains the Keep please help me out? I'm confident that re-enabling the option for me to unlock it in the Keep would fix this issue, but unless there's a setting I'm missing, I can't do that myself, so I need someone to reset it for me.

This also applies to a small handful of other items, but they don't matter nearly as much to me as Ser Isaac's Armor (because come on, it's Dead Space in Dragon Age).

  • I tried both disabling the auto-sign-in setting and uninstalling and reinstalling a DLC, but neither worked. I also tried quitting out of the game and restarting multiple times, but that didn't work either.

I'm also having this issue with Hayder's Razor, the Hawke Family Crest, and the Signature Edition Rewards. I would really appreciate it if someone at EA could at least tell me that this is something that's being looked into.

@TravelerSeven Hey, so the short answer is no we cannot modify that. If there is a keep issue, they can refresh the site and get players logged back in, but there isn't a way to add that to an account or update it as you requested.

What you can do is reset your EA password, log back into the keep, and use the replay option to sync all the choices in the keep you made.

After that, you would have to either run a repair on the game or just do a fresh install. If the armor is not showing up, I am afraid with the age of the game, there isn't a way for any of us to manually make it available if it is not on an account.

Also, when you are in the DLC section of the Keep, sync everything you can before you go into the game.

Hi @TravelerSeven, follow the same steps above. It's going to be a thing we cannot fix on the backend. It will be an issue you have to find troubleshooting steps for.

@EA_ShepardAlright, I guess I'll give the password reset a try and see if that does anything. I assume that the aforementioned replay option in the Keep is "Replay Startup"?

As for repairing/reinstalling, I'm playing on Xbox, so there's not much I can do in terms of repairing the game, but I'll try doing a full reinstall. Maybe I'll try buying another DLC to see if that helps refresh things.

Sucks that this can't be fixed on the backend ☹️

Edit: Could decoupling my Xbox account from my EA account and then recoupling it help in any way?

@EA_ShepardAlright, I just reset my password, went into the Keep and replayed the startup, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and launched it to see if anything changed. Nothing did.

I even tried unlocking more items (I think Air of Confidence and the Arlathan Focusing Crystal), but nothing changed (I admittedly only did this after I launched the game post-reinstall). I still only have access to the same selection of items, that being the following:
    - Boots of the Frozen Wastes
    - The Far Cliffs of Kirkwall
    - Lothering's Lament
    - Of Things Not Lost
    - Fadeshear
    - The Lion of Orlais
    - Staff of Parthalan
    - Blood Dragon Armor

The only other things I can think of doing are loading the game on my Xbox 360 instead of my Xbox One, decoupling and then recoupling my accounts, and/or going through the steps you recommended all over again.

@EA_Shepard Alright, I just tried booting the game up on my 360 itself to see if that would change anything. It didn't. I additionally will not be trying the "decoupling and recoupling" idea because I remembered that that latter part is not a thing that you can do. So I'm at a loss as to how to proceed.

There has to be a way to fix this issue, but it seems like nothing you've suggested has worked. I don't want to be locked off from this content permanently on my preferred platform!

Edit: So I just tried unlocking (almost) every reward item for DA2 that isn't unlocked via an achievement in one of the DLCs, and while I was able to unlock Hindsight and Dura's Blue Flame, nothing else appeared.

I don't understand why this is happening. Why are only some items unlocking while so many others are just not? Why has the system denied me access to Hayder's Razor and Ser Isaac's Armor? It is in particular baffling to me that I cannot access Hayder's Razor, since I HAVE completed the demo. Multiple times, in fact. And on both Xbox 360 and PC!
