Dragon Age II Saves not loading, have dates added to .das file

So I reinstalled DA II and find that my files copied from my old machine to the one with the date appended into the file name.

Same character files, Save 01 files looks like this:

Neither loads, the characters don't even show in DA II, it's like I've started a fresh game but the mods are there and load with that same appending of the date in the file names. I don't get it and I'd rather not have to go through a bunch of saves if I ever want to pick up on incomplete games. The screenshots are also loaded and fine with the dates appended to file name. So I don't get it. 

Any ideas on how to fix this or am I just SOL?
