Thank you for the info, that's so good to hear. Incredible game!

Please add walk toggle. For a heavy role-playing player like myself, it bothers me a lot to have to run to everywhere.

Aye, we need to walk!

How did this get missed? In the first couple of minutes of the game I was holding buttons to try to get my character to walk, and after a half hour I was looking through the keybindings. What the heck? It wouldn't be as bad if you didn't have to be close to things in order to interact with them, but now when I want to take a half step toward a chest my guy makes a wierd half-dash toward it and makes me need to reposition my mouse to get a good click on it.
It's extremely derpy. - Anonymous11 years ago
How? Money talks and it probably sells more on consoles. Why worry about puting out a working, finished product for pc when they can put something out thats half-baked, see what is broken or missing from all the complaints, and then (maybe if you're lucky) patch it later?
Please get this patched asap! It's SUPER annoying not being able to walk.. Such a HUGE immersion breaker!

This is what happens when you re-invent the wheel I guess. Controls the previous games were fine. The new ones are bad enough but no walk function in an RPG like Dragon Age pretty much takes the prize. I won't be playing till this gets fixed.
It seems silly, but okay, different people have different 'needs' I guess. Aesthetics are individual.
You should realize, however, that the animations for walking are quite different from the animations for jogging. That means you are asking to add a large chunk of expense and workthat will be seldom, if ever, used by most players. And at the moment there are apparently many more players unable to play at all.
There are other things that need attention first, am I right?

It's not just aesthetics. The movement is derpy. There is a small buildup to jogging, so if you want to take a step to the left and then move right, you have to wait for the moron to recover from his 0.25 second jog and turn around.
That coupled with holding the right mouse button to move the camera causes general irritation when trying to get around in any small areas.
Also, walking is already part of the assets of the game, there's just no way to do it on the PC without a controller.
I'm so annoyed this wasn't brought up in reviews, I would have waited until this was fixed before buying it. Oh well, I'm enjoying the game for the most part.
