I have the same issue, my system is well within the specs. 60 fps on high settings. However after 12 hs of gameplay i simply cannot launch the game anymore. I reinstalled al vcredist, the dx, drivers are up to date, windows is up to date, resetting prefernces by deleting saves folder helped for 15 mins.
Running windows 8.1 N x64 qith a 4gb r9 270x 16gb ram, i5 4670k. The only detail I've noticed between initial launch and now is that initially it used 10gb of ram now it is down to 6.
Even redownloaded the game for my lols... Disabled origin Interface. Almost out of options ☹️.
