Hmm how would I do (or undo) that? Looking at my PC specs, I have a Radeon 9200. I don't see Mantle as an option in any of the tabs I opened.
Normally it's in the display options, but your particular Radeon card doesn't have the supported architecture for Mantle, so that's not causing the issue.
The Radeon 9200 is actually very far below the system requirements, which would explain the long load times.

Obviously, you have no idea at all what a Radeon 9200 really is, or even AGP. You couldn't possibly have either of those, really. Re-read what I told you about it. Here is a review dating back into the dark ages when it was hammered out with the flint tools of the cavemen working for Sapphire at the time:

It is actually thirteen years now since that was released. Compare what your GPU looks like to the ancient etchings included with the review scroll.

Yes, I really don't understand computer stuff, so linking me to sites that compare cards and use a lot of tech jargon isn't very useful for me. But question and answer sites where people ask questions and are answered in plain layman's terms is.
Basically this video card is older than dirt and was a pretty bad one when it was released is what I'm getting from what I read. And I should be grateful it plays the game competently at all. I was just wondering what happened--if anything--to make it suddenly start playing whacko on me when, until recently, it played the game well, even on high settings. And what--if anything--could be done to help it, aside from lowering my graphic settings and/or buying another card altogether. Gonna just suck it up and play as best I can and move on.
