Dragon Age Inquisition Loading Screen Between Map Take Too Long

I got this game through Steam and had almost 68 hrs into it. The gameplay is still great, however, I recently experience some problem regarding the loading screen when I try to load from one map to another map. When I first got this game the loading screen time from the map to map is super fast and would always take only 1-5 seconds to complete, but now I don't know for some reason it would take up to 2 even 3 minutes just to load from one place to another. I never changed anything in my setting since the beginning all of my display and graphic settings remain the way they all are. I already try to "verify the file on Steam", "uninstall then reinstall", even try to change my setting but nothing seem to be working, it still took like forever for map loading. I'm running the game on my SSD, 1660Ti, and Ryzen 5 2600 with everything up to the latest date. If anyone knows something, please help because I was enjoying this game up to now and already begin to losing interest because it taking too long to load from one place to another.

  • There are a few factors that affect load speeds in Dragon Age: Inquisition:

    • When you enable the Mantle API, load times are significantly longer than with DirectX.
    • Disabling Origin in-game increases load times (strangely enough).
    • Having online features enabled increases load times (e.g. uploading characters to the DA Keep).
  • I have a new PC.
    AMD Ryzen 3 3100
    16GB RAM
    Geforce 1650 Super
    SSD M.2 NVE - 3.3/2.2 GB/s

I played the game for several tens of hours and loading the maps was fast. Out of nowhere, the loading slowed down for about 2 minutes. I tried to fix the game, but it didn't help. I don't use any MOD.
  • I run the game as an administrator and now I have again time for change maps about 15 to 20 seconds.
  • @ConquerorThe2ndSolved this when i realized my .exe was running in Windows 8 compatibility mode.
Deactivated the compatibility mode (and unchecked the box of Full Screen optimizations disable, as well) and the loading.

Some people said, turn on Run As Admin helped too. (In my case, Admin Run makes the game no open. Probably cause i use Steam + Origin integration and both cant handle with, maybe. But if youre using only Origin, try, why not?)
