All everyone is doing is giving replies to get back to mouse and keyboard. Is there any information yet to get controller working properly??

Some PC gamers are using the Xbox controllers successfully, ONE of those at a time . . as noted also, the officially supported controller is the one from the Xbox360.

i have gamepad 360 that i used in older versions of DA, it doesnt work, i paid for the game and the controller doesnt work? what the heck

@rgregg3773 If you have a gamepad plugged in and it's not responding, it's likely that you're using a gaming keyboard or some other peripheral that is being mistaken for your gamepad. Also be sure to plug in your pad before initialising the game.
Check your Device Manager for visible game controllers, and set your pad as default if it isn't already the default.
Note also that the 360 pad is the officially supported one, though Xbox One pads also works.

Xbox One controller was working fine until the patch. After 140 hours, the game is now unplayable.

360 controller working fine before the patch. Now having the same issue and couldn't play the game cause the PC controls are just unbearable for me.

people are using the xbox 360 controller that is compatible with all pc and does work on all game except dragons age 3.i can play other game with no problem until I try to play dragons age and it does not work
