@rgregg3773 If you have a gamepad plugged in and it's not responding, it's likely that you're using a gaming keyboard or some other peripheral that is being mistaken for your gamepad. Also be sure to plug in your pad before initialising the game.
Check your Device Manager for visible game controllers, and set your pad as default if it isn't already the default.
Note also that the 360 pad is the officially supported one, though Xbox One pads also works.
Xbox One controller was working fine until the patch. After 140 hours, the game is now unplayable.

360 controller working fine before the patch. Now having the same issue and couldn't play the game cause the PC controls are just unbearable for me.

What's the word? Still can't play with a controller that worked fine before the patch. Neither a wired 360 nor an Xbox One controller will work.

Same issue. After that last patch my Dragon Age II Razer Controller no longer functions.
Any ETA on fixing it back?
Is anyone at EA reading these messages?
