i have a suspicion that the game is way to sensitive about other processes, if u ask why, for example when i looked in Reliability Monitor i so a small that my app had small update, i say small cause reader app is not like windows uptade & does not take so much as this app update, in other games even alienautopcy can scan & no changes, i think even if for example 1 extra WMI stars running cause its requiered for something (usually i have 1 running, but sometimes second starts to run for short time, 15min - 1h, i have not take the time, but its somthing like that), so i believe that even processes like that starting & stoping effect the game
maybe its just cause gugs with other games are harder to notice, but i have never play'd a game that is as bugged as DAI, its just a surprice, i hope they will fix this issues
first day i installed it worked allmost with out any issue, its just in the beginning i with casandra got stuc in combat mode ready to attack, so no dialogue came after fight cause i was still in combat with no enmys around 😃 save & load fixed it, i mean after load i was out of combat

Have the same issue, random crashes leading to PC restart (it hangs totally, I can hear windows error in the back , then display gets NO SIGNAL from GPU, sound gets looped and it restarts the PC after a sec or two). The crashes never occur after same time, sometimes it is after few hours, sometimes after 5 minutes.
Here's my setup (cant get dxdiag atm, will attach while at home):
i5-4660 3.2 Ghz (NOT overclocked)
GeForce GTX 970 4GB (may have a factory OC, but if the game crashes because of factory OC on cards.. no comment here)
8 GB DDR3
Game never crashes in Skyhold. On the other hand - there is no possibility of playing more than 10 minutes in Redcliffe without a crash. Can reliably crash it every time I go from farmlands camp in hinterlands to the lvl 12 rift near druffalo.
It is.. very odd. PC was bought 1-2 months ago and can play all the modern games with 1080p 60fps+ no problem. Checked the temperature logs - no overheating.
Tried changing graphic options to low, going to older drivers/new beta drivers - nothing helps. Have the .NET and other required distributables in order.
It is just riddiculous.- Sugram2211 years agoNew Scout
