Dragon Age Inquisition suddenly crashes at random times (PC)

I've found a solution on my problem.

It is not perfect at all, but it makes me able to play the game.

I rapidly tap 'Skip' (Space Bar or Escape on keyboard) as soon as I see a cutscene to pass the crashes. It works.

I admit it is a poor game when you can't enjoy the cinematics. But I am waiting for a fix. I am not going to buy a new PC just to play this one game.

Happens on PS4 and PS3 as well so it probably occurs on all systems

well disabaling Antiasling made game bit more stable for me, i mention this in case there are people here whow have Antiasling turned on in game

Try this.. Apparently there has been an issue whether it's with the game or the drm whe mixed with gpu / system monitoring software like fraps / afterburner / etc or any type of on screen display. It causes a random crash with no error.

To those that have not tried it yet try playing offline, completely offline, no internet whatsoever.  It has stopped my crashes for now as the problem appears to be linked to Origin and all the interference their overlay during gameplay can cause.  There is an option to disable Origin during your game but I find being offline works best.

If you haven't tried it I would attempt to play offline at least once to see if it helps you.

u mean offline with Origin or DAI or close Origin & then offline with DAI? if u do that can u get ur saves to Keep later? & if yes then how?

does any1 know how to turn off Origin's advertisement popup that appears right after automatic log-in?

I experienced the same problems after having played about 30 hours... before that the game was running smoothly and without any major issues.

I tried all the suggestions I could find here in the forums... including uninstalling/reinstallig my graphics drivers, playing offline in Origin...

I updated my DirectX version, and now that really seems to have fixed it. At least I didn't experience any random crashes for 1,5 hours now... before that it was like every 3 to 15 minutes.

I also deactivated cloud-saves in Origin and being logged in automatically in the game options.

Now it seems to be rather stable again... hope it helps!

Its an EA game.. its shipped, we have paid for it, they have our money and its not unplayable class action lawsuit broken like some games ship, so its unlikely they will patch it if its not completely broken.

So still no word as to why this is happening and how they can fix this?
