I'm in the PST time zone. Machine is a quad core haswell, 48GB RAM, ATI 290x2 Video Card. All drivers are up to date as is Windows.
When I try and launch the game it says "synching cloud data" and then that windows disappears and nothing happens.
Anyone have any ideas?
Almost same problem.
Game starts, icon shows up on toolbar, i see EA and bioware logo, then it warns not to exit game while autosave is working and then screen go dark.
after waiting 10 minutes had to manualy end the process.
i run on Intel i5 3.3ghz, gforce gtx 760, 8g Ram. AC:Unity is going smoothly on my PC.
Can i please ask Bioware/Ea to fix this before i will drown my keyboard via drooling in wait for DA:I?
I'm having this exact same problem, I see the logos and a screen that says the game has an autosave feature, then it just cuts to black with music playing.
And I truly intend to play this game today, because I've been waiting for half a year now since I preordered it!
I can't find a solution to this either, eventhough I've been looking.

One of my friends recommened that I tried repairing my .Net files. He said that fixed a simular problem for him a few months back. I gave it a whirl - just it didn't fix my issue. I know there was a window's update last night, but I don't think it changed the .Net files... I'm really not sure what else to try. Anyone have any luck trying anything?
I'm having the same issue, and I installed from disks. I have a state-of-the art gaming laptop rig, so Minimum or Recommended System Requirements are not root cause for me.
This is very disappointing. I really miss the days when one bought a game, installed it, and it worked.... This cloud business is BS.
Horrible tech support from Origin/EA. I reported the error, shared my system details, and they advised me to open a ticket. I opened a ticket and included the Origin Report ID. They called me 30 minutes later, and immediately disconnected the call. I "Resumed" the open ticket requesting a call to resolve the issue asking them to not hang up on me before we even talk...25 minutes later I get a call from EA, and again they disconnected after one ring.
I really don't appreciate that the Origin/EA call center is technically fulfilling an SLA by calling customers, yet failing to actually assist customers since they just make sure that the phone logs show that a call was made. I'm at about the point of never purchasing an EA/Origin game again.

Maybe....and I'm just saying as a phone techie here...if they can't get the game to work their call centers dont work either and they can't transfer calls correctly. That or they're hanging up on you like you said...
how many cores does your cpu have?
