I reinstalled dragon age after a long time on my new computer and for the 1st time, I have this error message
Invalid license Reason code=missing dll(Nx character dll) error 0x7E. wth does that mean exactly and why is this happening now. I tried to repair it, uninstalled and reinstalled, still the same issue.
I looked at a post just above mine and i found that the links lead to nvidia, not amd so my gpu is not listed. If it's a driver issue, I'm up to date, if it's a physx thing, i don't know where to find it as both nvidia and amd pages just speak to drivers. It's definitely an amd issue as i can run the game fine on my older computer running an nvidia card.
If you have a AMD or Intel GPU go here > Download PhysX > Install > Restart the PC > Test
If you have a NVIDIA GPU and you have the latest driver installed, go here > Download PhysX > Install > Restart the PC > Test.
If that don't helps, create a DxDiag in text file format and post it with your next reply. You can do that with the "Choose file" button at the bottom right corner of the reply window.
