Dragon Age Keep Story not used in Inquisition?

After putting about 35 hours into Dragon Age Inquisition, it has become apparent that the story I crafted out in Dragon Age the Keep isn't being used in the game.

For the most part the story in the keep was entirely made by me without importing past game information (only a character I half played through dragon age 1 was imported).

The reason for this was that I played all of the dragon age games and expansion on Xbox 360, but I no longer have that console, and I never uploaded my character information to Origin.

Anyway, I built my story in the keep exactly as I had it in the game, but it has become obvious that the story I made isn't being used. I thought around character creation time for Dragon Age Inquisition that I was givening the option to select my keep information, and I'm almost certain that I chose to. It is possible I unknowingly made a mistake during this process, but I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this problem? Could it be a glich or bug of some kind?

This may be a long shot, but is there anyway to correct the backstory for the game I am still playing? I'm hoping I wont need to replay through those 35 hours.

Thanks!

It would not have mattered if you had played them all on Origin from what I can tell. All of my playthroughs were on PC and I kept all of my old saves (even through OS upgrades.) The Keep connects to your Bioware account, not your local save files. So it keeps your accomplishments, but not your appearance or choices. At least it didn't for me. It will keep a thumbnail of your character's face, but that in no way links up with your actual Hawke face when you meet him/her. But you can still alter their face if you went with a custom one. Beware doing so at the moment switches your Inquisitor's voice to use the opposite voice from the character creator. ie: American switches to British, vice versa.

I have no idea if there is a fix to your problem. I found out my world state didn't load into my game when I got to Redcliffe and discovered Conner was dead. About 7 hours in to my game. 35 for you? You must be furious.

If the world state is that important to you (It would be to me) I would try starting a new character. Make sure you upload your fully edited tapestry as your default world state to Dragon Age Inquisition on Dragon Age Keep. Make sure you have no firewall problems preventing you from logging in once you've gotten to the Main Menu of the game. And after choosing your race, gender, class and difficulty it should ask if you want to load the custom world state. After which it will tell you the world state it found (and the time stamp for when you uploaded that world state, just to double check), and you will have 5 tarot cards, one of which shows the dragon from the drasgon age keep site. If all that happened you SHOULD have the right world state. Double check by talking to NPCs as much as possible. If something they say doesn't jive with your world, then it didn't work.

I'm having the exact same issue. Despite supposedly doing everything right, I'm 15 hours into gameplay and it's just become apparent this isn't really my world. I'm completely crestfallen and I don't know what to do. I don't have time to lose 15 hours of my life! I'm so furious.

Is there any way to edit world state after starting a game? From the console, or something? Someone somewhere must have figured out how to do this.
