Dragon Age not detecting Xbox One Controller

Hey All,

As of 08/03 I tried to play DA:I and it would not detect my controller, I last tried to play it a year ago and it worked fine then, since then I haven't changed anything.

I've tried the solutions on;

and still nothing, I have reinstalled the game, repaired it, used a clean version with no mods, reinstalled my controller drivers, updated my controller, unplugged everything except the controller, changing the Profile settings in the game files to activate the Gamepad and back again but still nothing.

I'm now submitting this as a bug but any other help someone could offer would be great.

Here to say I am running into the same issue. I've googled around and this does not appear to be the same issue as having multiple inputs connected, going into the menu and switching the controller type, or running the game through Origin (with overlay on/off), Steam, etc
I have an xbox one wireless controller, hooked up via bluetooth. This game will not recognize it, let you change the input mode (even manually via editing the profile file), or notice the controller however many times you restart with it connected (keyboard on and off, etc - everything). This is the only game I have with this issue.
Any help would be appreciated!
