Dragon Age Origins colour issue

I tried today to run DAO for first time for a while.  For some reason, all graphics appears drawn in red and green very close together - like i am watching in old style 3D.  I did not find any way to change this in settings, and i don't have this issue before with this computer, or with other software.  Unfortunately the game is unplayable like this.  One possible change is 'upgrade' to Windows 8.1 done since i installed the game

Can you recommend me where to look to resolve this problem.
