Dragon Age Origins not launching with EA app on PC

Hi

What I did and worked for me is disable the "run as administrator" from the "daorigins.exe", the executable of the game, not the EA app. Doing that, the next time that I opened the game through the EA app, it worked fine and didn't give me any error or issue.

I have tried that and it hasn't worked.  I have also uninstalled and reinstalled Dragon Age Origins through the EA app without improving the situation.

Can you use Origin or do you have the game over MS game pass?

For anyone Googling the issue like I did, this solved it.  I tried to launch DA2 from Steam, but the EA app would pull up and close and the game wouldn't run.

I had to open the EA app separately by searching Windows for the app and choosing "Run as administrator", go into Steam, press Play on game, and then it worked.

Hello guys, I have a problem running the game. I have the English version of Dragon Age origins ultimate edition, still with the box and 2 DVDs. I can't install anything via the new ea app and when I install the game via autorun.exe on the normal way, only the base game is installed, without dlc and German voice output. The last time I installed it on the origin app, everything was done automatically, so that all dlcs were available and the game could be played in German, despite the English DVD. Does somebody has any idea? I would like to play the game again.

Last time on Origin, did you installed it from Origin (Digital) or did you installed it from the Discs as well?
