I can't log onto the EA servers on DAO either and I've got half a dozen campaign saves I can no longer access because of that I was going to go back and organically create some new world states by replaying the first two games but now I can't even do that I've tried doing the forget then re-download your profile trick for Xbox 360 users but that didn't do anything for me it may help someone else though so here's a link: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/xbox/forum/all/dragon-age-origins-server-issue/5d67cb6d-2556-4852-a04d-76bdb9629046?auth=1
This fix worked for me when I installed using the ultimate edition disks on Xbox One. 1, install all of the second disk, with the dlc. 2, only uninstall the game from manage games. 3, install disk 1, as well as the update it wants to do. 4, put back in disk 2, and play off that always. When you get to the menu, servers won't work, but it'll read the dlc off the disk.
For digital users, try installing the game and dlc. Then reinstall the game if it let's you keep the dlc there like the above method. Not sure if it works the same way.
