I spoke to an EA customer support person, long story short, they can't change the blacklisted countries, so anyone in those countries will not be able to purchase the game, through Epic or through the store. also, they said the game is titled as a "Sunset" game, which means EA will not be selling this game anymore or put it on EA play.
@Xx-Gimmle-xX If you mean "not being able to purchase at any store" by "through Epic or through the store" than it is flat out wrong. The game is only blacklisted in EGS. It is available on all other platforms.
I guess that customer support has no idea what they are talking about if I understood you correctly.
@Tardelius The game will not come up in the list of games on EA app too, this has been the case for the past few years.
The blacklist is not by Epic design, this is an EA issue they are just upholding. so Epic won't allow this either because EA doesn't allow it (for some reason), that was my point.
I believe Steam does allow you to purchase the game, although it is listed at almost full price right now.
I can't find it dragon age inquisition on steam and gog or any of the dragon age games, except for the upcoming dragon age dreadwolf, which might be blacklisted too.
I don't think this has anything to do with the ban. The game is available on platforms like ea play xbox steam playstation. It is available on all platforms except Epic games. Do they only ban epic games? If it was banned, they wouldn't sell it on their own platforms or Steam. They don't care even if it's forbidden. The reason why Turks cannot access the game is complete indifference. Not many people know it because it is not free, but other games such as A Way Out Dead Space 1 and 2 have the same problem. While it is possible to log in from American or European accounts, it is not possible to access from Turkish accounts. it was banned then
