When I try to leave Lothering to engage the bandits north of town, the game keeps crashing as the battle starts. Sometimes I get an error message, sometimes it just crashes. I've seen posts about downloading third-party software to fix an issue with too little available RAM on modern PCs, but I'm hesitant to try unauthorized add-ons. Is this the only fix, or is there another viable option?
It looks like your Monitor is a Full HD (1920x1080) LG 32ML600M, ist hat correct?
The DxDiag reports it runs at 3840 x 2160 (32 bit) (30Hz).
There are also many LiveKernelEvent errors regarding the graphic system.
Please look at your "C:\Windows\LiveKernelReports" folder and load the latest *.dmp file you find in that folder (or in a sub folder) up to a free file hosting page or to your public onedrive folder.

I played Origins a couple of months ago and found that it was just a graphics issue. If you turn down the texture quality, you stop crashing, at least it was for me.

My PC won't open the file. Does this only work for older PCs? Mine is only a couple years old.

Its not really an add-on, it just lets the "daorigins.exe" address more ram on modern system.
This often helps with crashes of DAO, but I can't of course guarantee that it will help with your crash.
Still, it is a safe process and quickly done.
