[EA app] How to get missing DLC for DA II standard edition

I bought mark of the assassin and a couple of other bits the old Bioware points way a long time ago and I don't think I ever had the game on steam. How do I go about getting the Legacy DLC now?  This page: https://help.ea.com/ca/help/faq/dlc-for-classic-games/ appears to only work for steam versions.

Let us first try to get the EA app to download your DLCs.

    Please clear your temp files:

    • Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time
    • Into the new window, type or copy & paste:  "%temp%"   (Without the quotes.) > hit "ENTER"
    • Now your Windows Explorer should have brought you to the "C:\Users\>your user name<\AppData\Local\Temp" folder. > Delete all files and folders in it.
(If some files or folders can't be deleted, reboot and try again.)

    Then:

    • Go here and download "Revo Uninstaller". (The freeware version, Portable version works too.)
    • Run "Revo Uninstaller" > Uninstall EA app.
    • At the end of the main uninstall, Revo will ask you which cleaning method you want to use. > Select "intensive" > Browse.
    • If "Remaining registration content found" is displayed > Select All > Delete > Next
    • When "Remaining Data and Folders" is displayed > Select All (Make sure the "Origin Games" folder is not in the list) > Delete.
    • Restart the PC
    • Download a new EA app setup exe from here.
    • Install EA app
    • Restart the PC > Test.
  • Thanks for the reply! Just to clarify, I have access to the DLCs I bought a long time ago including Mark of the assassin. I do not have access to the Legacy DLC that I did not buy however. Also do you think I need to uninstall the game first?

All DLCs should be available to you, they are all free by now.

So please do what I suggested in my first post.

And no, this is probably not a game problem. We can do that later if the steps don't work.

@CountDave416 Hey, so for context. The DLC page to download older DLC is specifically for Steam and not the EA app. If you are downloading it for the EA app, you don't need that site as it downloads differently in Windows from the EA app itself.

Test out the steps @holger1405 sent and let us know. We nee the feedback to update articles and steps we have for DLC for these older titles.

    Cheers!
