Error Syncing Cloud Storage Data

I had to replace my hard drive so lost all my local save data. Then my computer updated to Windows 10 from Windows 7. Now when I try to play DA:I, it gets to 5% and then says: error syncing cloud storage data", with an option to play anyway. It prompts me to choose cloud or local save (again, there's nothing saved locally) but if I choose the cloud it fails again and gives me the option to retry, at which point the game is just stuck in place until I cancel it (I let it go for an hour last night just to see if anything changed, and it didn't). If I skip past loading cloud data, the game starts but then I get errors that there isn't enough room to save due to previous save and to delete the files to continue. I've only used 2.32 mb of 1 GB on cloud storage so I don't see how there isn't enough room to save anything without deleting the other (or how to get to these files I'm supposed to delete). I tried running it in Win 7 compatibility as an administrator, didn't help. Tried contacting EA for help, but the "less than 5 min wait" for quick chat is now into the 2 day time frame with absolutely no response whatsoever. I'd really like to be able to play my game again, and preferably not lose my previous save files.

  • Could you post your specs/dxdiag, please?
The error message about save space sounds to me like it's talking about your hard drive, not your cloud storage, but I could be wrong.

I'm having the same problem, and I didn't do any reinstalls lately. When I try to launch the game, the cloud sync gets to about 5 percent and warns me that it's failing and if I want to play anyway. If I say yes, I get an error about not enough space when I try to actually load a character, despite 40gb being free on my local drive, and my cloud drive being mostly empty.
