Dragon Age Origins UE Physical copy DLC Unauthorized

Similar issues are discussed a lot, but I haven't found a solution that works in my case. I like physical copies of games mainly for nostalgia, and recently got Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition as a physical copy. I have now installed it as well as all the bonus content (Awakening, bunch of special items and DLC stuff).
However, they are all installed and enabled, but unauthorized. Due to the EA servers no longer available message, I can't log in from the game to authorize them either. I have the EA application, which recognized that I have the game and now I can launch it through there as well. I did that, but it made no difference. All of the content also shows up when I check add-ons from the EA app for DAO.
Anyone had a similar situation? I think my game being a physical copy probably makes this a bit different than the usual fixes I've seen for the Steam or EA App purchased versions. I would like to actually play this from the physical version, just want to find a way to authorize the DLC content.
