Failure starting the game (EACore.dll)
Hy, my DA2 does not start at all.
My System:
AMD Phenom II X4 955 Prozessor 803 Mhz
4,00 GB RAM
Win 7 64-bit professional SP1
Nvidia Geforce GTS 250
DirectX 11 (newest version supported by Microsoft-HP)
The following things I tried:
-starting the game with the launcher
-starting the game with the DragonAge2.exe
-starting the game with "Win XP compatibility"
-starting the game with directX 9 and 11
-starting the game as admin
-uninstalling, rebooting, installing
Before I installed the game, I updated the Nvidia-patch to version 314.22 and checked directx.
I bought the game physicaly on disc and installed the patch 1.04 after installing the game.
Then I rebooted the PC and tried again.
When I try to start the game nothing happens.
I can see at the taskmanager, that the process "DragonAge2.exe" is popping up, and shutting down.
