Game crashes when launched [PC]
The title pretty much sums it up. I just got around to buying the game, but when I launch the game from origin itself or from the desktop, the result is the same: a black window opens up looking like its about to launch the game, and about half a second later it closes. Nothing happens past that point. No error messages. No hidden tasks are running in the background that I'm aware of. I've tried reinstalling the game with no luck, as well as 'repairing' the game through origin and disabling 'origin in game'. Still nothing.
Anyone else having this problem? Any suggestions? I can post my specs if need be, but I get the sense this is more of a bug than anything. Just let me know if there is any other information I can provide.
Make sure the game is running on the Nvidia Geforce GPU instead of the integrated graphics. You can set the Geforce as the default device in your Nvidia control panel under 'manage 3D settings'.
