FYI, while a desktop version of a GTX 750 would probably be just fine, there is no way to guess how any given Mobile GPU with the back half only from the desktop card may perform, since the producers of laptops adhere to no set of standards at all. Your PC may be made by a company that totally cripples it to avoid the necessary cost and weight of an adequate cooling system to suit it.
Practically speaking, only Sager can be trusted to sell you a mobile GPU with most of its performance intact!
IMO, it takes at least a GTX 760m to equal the desktop GTX 750, and from some laptop manufacturers, you will need a GTX 765m.
Yeah, no doubt you're right. But I'd love it if the game would even TRY to use the Nvidia card. :D
I had this very same issue with Divinity: Original Sin a while back. The control panel settings and everything is all set to use the dedicated card, but it doesn't. Not sure if there's a fix for that game nowadays, since I haven't played it in a while.
But anyway, I've tried everything short of voodoo, and I guess I'll just have to wait for new patches and/or drivers and hope they'll fix this.
I've seen the card working well with other games too.
I also have the fullscreen issue many people have... The only way I can play is in windowed fullscreen, and from what I've read that makes the FPS even worse.
