High CPU usage on pc?

Why is it that my game has a rediculously high usage of CPU?  It can reach more than 80%.  And no, it's not in game, it's in the starting menu.  Is that about the new DRM?

    May wanna specifiy what kinda CPU you have before you ask that.

    CPU usage can come from a lot of things. Though often in this case its from poorly optimized game releases.  DA:I is pretty good, but its clearly a pc rush job despite developer promises.
