How can I fix constant freeze / stuttering?

How about your CPU? And how are the temperatures?
I suggest you use software to monitor hardware temperatures (e.g. HWMonitor or CoreTemp). Make sure the PC is well ventilated with no dust buildup. Especially during the summer months, heat can be a problem.
