[Information Request] "We could not activate DisplayName field missing from registry" Error

Hi everyone,

Some of you are still not able to play DAO after they encountered the error discussed in this thread even after they completely reinstalled and deleted their corrupted licence files. We have made an update to the thread and would like to ask you to check out this linked post here before proceeding.

Should those steps provided still not resolve the issue for you, please fill out the list below as detailed as possible.

7. Origin Error Report ID:

How do you get the Origin Error Report ID?

Run the Origin Error Reporter application available in the Origin folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin\OriginER.exe

 

It is important that your tick the box for "I agree to share diagnostic information with Origin." Only then will you be able to click on the "Send Report" button.

With this ID we will be able to take a closer look at what exactly has been going on.
