[Keep] Cannot Delete Old Heroes From Dragon Age Origins
Hello,
I have recently encountered an issue withing Dragon Age Keep whereas I cannot delete old Hero entries made in Dragon Age Origins.
For some background: the characters were created somewhere around 2015-2017 (yep, so a bit old) and I have since uninstalled and reinstalled DAO a few times, most recently 1 month ago, when I did a playthrough of a new character. The achievements and Word State info were not saved in Keep for this character (for achievements, no, I did not use cheats :D) ) so I had to manually modify some Tapestry info to match my playthrough choices (I am doing a series playthrough, so I wanted to see if the choices actually reflect throughout the titles - currently paying Inquisition). That's when I noticed that 4 characters that I created when I first got this game are still showing up there, but when trying to delete them I get error: Oops, an error occurred..
Is there some way that EA can delete them from my Keep account (and just keep the DAO character that I have right now in my active word state)?
Also, the heroes that I want to delete from the DAO slot show as having 0 word state (Features in 0 word states) - I have tried to manually add them into another word state, in hopes that something will sync and I will be able to delete the hero, but no success...
Is there a way that this can be fixed or am I stuck with 4 inactive Heroes for DAO in Dragon Age Keep?
Thank you.
@SebyX16 That is unfortunate. I eas hoping one of these ways would work. So they won't actually go in and delete them; they will get the site itself updated and test it on their end. That typically resolves issues for players to be able to make changes.
The good thing is you don't need to delete them to do what you want. Bad news, you just have to go through it the long way. This is what I do.
I sync the account
Replay your options in the Keep
Go through everything as if it was brand new
Make all the choices (I know there are so many)
Create the world state I want.
Rename that world state to, let's say, today's date.
Import that state and lock it!
If you play DAI, go into the game and import again. It will use the one you locked in.
If you play from DAO on, you would have to essentially repeat the steps once you get into DAI that way you know which world state it is you are using. You can also edit the heroes names to not loose track of which hero did what.
