I'm having the same problem, except I play on the PC with "American" voices fem Inquisitor.
My guess for why that happens is that because you are going into the character creator like you did in the beginning, but without the option to switch voices when making a Hawke, your "vocal" option is "default." Which is the first one.
So it seems you either you have to either get used to the default Hawke or the default voice.
The gender thing is probably related too. If your Hawke was female, and Inquisitor is male, your Inquistiroy status "resets" to female.
Going to have to wait for a patch. Probably good, I can;t waste all my time playing DAI
I'm kinda of confused about why this is happening because my friend an I are both playing this game on the same console and she customized her Hawke and the voie stayed the same, but every time, whether I customize Hawke or not, it switched my herald' voice from the higher option to the lower pitch one, and it's really bloody annoying. Do we have word on a fix for this yet?
If not I may just ignore Hawke until we get one.
