Male Inquisitor voice changes after meeting Hawke

Same for me, and I'm on an Xbox360.

My lower female voice changed to the higher/default alternative--however, this only happened when I customized my Hawke's appearance. I've reloaded and done it twice customizing and twice with default Hawke. Just like the OP, if I choose default Hawke appearance, my voice does not change. Any customization at all and my voice has changed. I was sad to not be able to interact with my favorite of my Hawkes... but having my voice change mid-game was way too jarring.
