Missing Cut Scene and like...characters (PC)

I pre-loaded Inquisition last night and was super pumped to finally play. At midnight I immediately started playing, and first off it just takes ages to get me anywhere. It's probably 3 minutes until I see the menu screen, and then once I click new game I see that first loading screen with the cards for anywhere from 3-8 minutes before getting to the first cut scene. Character creation goes smoothly, for which I am grateful, and then I do the whole running up to glowing naked lady while running from spiders, and then after that last little bit with the templars standing over you, I wake up on a mountain top with low health.

And the first time I did this I ran around got to what I guess is Haven, but no one was there and I couldn't do anything (well I walked into an empty house I did do that). And this struck me as odd and a terrible opening to a game which is not at all what I know Bioware for. So I went and looked up a playthrough video. And lo and behold I'm missing a whole cut scene! And NPC's in Haven! And a quest!

So I stopped it, quit the game, restarted Origin, the whole deal. Went back to play, had to make a whole new character (because I couldn't save whilst wandering laggily through an empty Haven) and still missing the cut scene.

I have done this three times. I need a solution or I'm returning the game because this is absolute bull.
