Origin is directing me to Steam when I dont even own the game on Steam

I bought Dragon Age inquisition on Steam, Origin just wouldn't let me start the game, after hours and hours of trying I decided to return the game and get my money back. One day later I see the same game on sale at the Origin store and buy it thinking that it will work this time bc it won't need steam to run it and it's directly in origin. Well, whenever I try oepn ing the game Origin just opens the Dragon age inquisition page on Steam. I can't run the game because aparently Origin thinks my game was bought on Steam which was not and keeps opening the steam page. I can't uninstall the game because Origin directs me to my steam library. I do not own the game on steam anymore, I own it strictly on Origin. I can't disconnect my steam account from origin because apparently there's a minimum time of freaking 6 months I have to wait, for no reason.  Origin still shows the steam version game in my library but also shows a non steam version in my library but neither of them work. Could someone please help.

  • I would start by clearing Origin Cache and resetting it so any wrong links to steam is hopefully removed.

If this doesn't work, you may wish to contact official EA help either on EAHelp.com or Twitter and chat with a EA Customer Rep and see if there is something in your account.  DON'T use forum as that will bring you back here, and this is a player to player help forum.
