Just woundering if last gen will get a patch to fix some of the bugs such as texture popin, hair and beards looking very dodgy and framerate (there may be more these are just ones ive seen.
A lot of people own last gen and since we paid full price we would like a patch to at least fix the bugs.

I forked out 70 bucks for this.
-Text is bloody small.
-Searching for loot or items is near impossible with such small text. After a while I just give up and say screw it to whatever items may be around. Hell, it might even be good gear, but if I can't find it, I ain't looking.
-Also heard the screeches mentioned earlier at the Forge in Haven.
-Why does it sound like there's a riot in Haven when only 3 people are milling about Cullen!?
-Volume from dialogue comes and goes, so have to put on subtitles, which are hard to read from small text.
-Sometimes I can't even select fromt he dialogue tree, sot he ridiculous work around I have is to first, pull up the wheel for spells, which somehow allows me to chose dialogue, the second close it so my character delivers it.
-Framerate and items/clothes clipping through people. Come on guys, this isn't 1998.
-Characters, NPS, and whomever being on top of stuff or falling through it. It's weird talking to Varric in Haven and seeing him continually trip trhough the ground like his right leg has lost all bones it or, or seeing a merchant int he Hinterlands walking a top a cart, then in mid-air.
-The combat system feels like a hot mess. Look, I get it, that there's a range, but when I want Solas to cast a spell or Varric to fire Bianaca at an enemy say on a ledge or platform, do I really need to navigate the ability wheel up a set of stairs?!
Fix this damned game, of which there are hardcore fans.
Honestly, when I popped this in, my first reaction (I kid you not) was to cry. I felt completely screwed and wondered how I could return it.
I'm experiencing all of this too. It's relieving to read through this and see that I'm not alone, but also very annoying that there hasn't been anything done.
The battle system is fine for me though, I'm mainly concerned with all the other issues that are really ruining the immersion that I expected with this game. I love the series and the characters, I just really wish I was given the quality that I paid 70 bucks for. Many of us are having to play this on last gen consoles because we can't afford an update right now but still want to experience the game. I'm okay with graphics being downgraded...but I think we deserve to have the quality of the game be consistent with the other versions.
Honestly I just assumed the game would look like DA2...which wasn't bad imo. I dunno though they seem to be working on patches but haven't really said what's being worked on first and when they'd give an update.
With all these issues I don't know if I believe that they did any real QA testing before launch. It's not like it's one community experiencing these issues (pc/next gen/last gen) we all are experiencing the majority of the same issues. We are the QA testers at this point. Hopefully the almost $80 people dished out won't be for nothing.
I'm on the PS3 and only about 6 hours into the game but its frozen 5 times already. I had to shut off the power and do a hard reset but doing that so many times is not good for my console. Other glitches include characters hovering over the ground instead of walking/standing, enemies disappearing into the environemnt if they get knocked back and can no longer be interacted with (but the map still says enemies are nearby), dialog choices appear before talking to a NPC and can't select any of them, textures won't load so characters and objects look like blobs of play-doh, and every so often switching characters in your party becomes disabled so I have to quit, the restart the game.
Like everyone else out there with similar errors, I hope a patch (or several patches) will be released and we won't be shafted by EA/Bioware because some of us bought this game for an older console. And at full price too ($60 for stanbdard and $70 for Deluxe).
The textures for a 2014 game are attrocious, they look no better than Mass Effect 1! I'm astounded that they released the PS3/360 version as it is with so many bugs and such terrible looking textures. Considering this game is the same price as the PS4/Xbox One I expected a little better than this, it's a terrible looking port!
I've actually installed the game on my HDD (it has 20+ gb of space left) but when I insert disk 2 to play after 2 or 3 minutes into character creating (I manage to choose gender, race, class and other stuff) the "error disk is unreadable" message pops up on my screen :l I've tried plenty of other games and they work just fine (I've played 2+ hours of DAII yesterday without any issue at all) so I think it's unlikely to be a problem of my console...
I have also had weird and frankly distracting issues with this game (ps3), I'm going to list them so people know, and so I can feel a bit better maybe 😉
In the opening scene, after you see the breach for the first time, as cassandra leads you through the village, the villagers are wearing blotches, not clothing. You can tell its not loading the textures properly, and then, after she finishes speaking and moves out of frame, they show a wood pole for like a minute before moving onto the next scene.
Another issue with casandra, when I'm talking to her in haven, and shes training with a wooden dummy, theres a point where the camera switches to a view of the dummy, when its clearly supposed to be focused on cassandra. then it zooms in THROUGH the dummy!
If I talk to varric in haven, I can get him to do squats the whole conversation. This happens if you talk to him when hes next to the little campfire he hangs out around, I guess the game thinks hes on a stair or something and then realizes he isnt, so he just... does squats while talking about putting his brother in an insane asylum...
When you go to the hinterlands for the first time and talk to the scout, there was a point where weird vaguely ovoid black shapes randomly flashed across the screen for seemingly no reason. I have no idea why that happened at all.
To be frank, the graphics of this game look like dragon age origins, but worse. I've seen the screenshots, I know what its supposed to look like, and a worse version of origins it is not supposed to look like. I understand that it cant be as good looking on the ps3 as it is on the ps4, but even if it only looked like dragon age 2 I would be happy. I cant even play the game, the graphics bugs are so distracting I can't enjoy the story.
