Patch made performance MUCH worse

I have to fully agree, just patched and game hitches pretty severly every few seconds, even in title screen. I dont have the best computer but was working pretty well before the patch, all things considered, but now its pretty exhausting to play

I got the exact issue. Game is totally unplayable now.

It can now start on dual core apparently. but lags uncontrolbly until you get in game where it stops every 3 4 second and then smooth gameplay until stop aagain 4 5 sec

Also, just to add to this, in a weird turn of events Cassandra has gone missing. Completely disappeared.

Now? I mean, you were able to connect to those seemingly mythical, rumored non-existant Dragon Age servers? Lucky. I probably would be crying about performance, if I could actually play the game in a world state that I built.

So I've not had this hitching problem previously, but after today's patch, I have it now. Every 20 seconds or so, everything freezes for about 3-4 seconds. It's maddening to the point that I can't play.

Really odd thing about it, is that sometimes I can still move my camera during this period of time. Everything else is what stutters - combat, movement, dialog, etc. Doesn't seem to matter what screen I'm on either, maps and menus cause it too.

Maddening.

Maybe she was freaked out when all her scars and facial textures vanished after the patch and skipped town?

Before patch, I had none of the problems others mentioned, other than the party banter seemed to be few and far between.

After the patch:

Shiny hair.

DirectX crash to desktop.

Objects in game suddenly disappearing: I walked into an abandoned camp with carts, boxes, a firepit, etc. Then all of that vanished.

And cut scenes seem to be slow. 

And the war table seems to be laggy.

i7 920 @ 2.66 GHz

GTX 680 2GB

12 GB RAM

Playing mostly on high/medium settings with no problems up until today.

Just had the first bsod in the menu when i tried to set affinity to high.. some windows popped up saying c5 something when started up again

It's actually worse so uninstalling.

It's a shame, and I hope they actually do fix it as I would like to play the game at some point!!
