I've been having the same problem - Origins keeps crashing on launch. I get as far as click Resume and it crashes. It's done this before and I've had to move some save files to the desktop so it could start another one, but then I have to restart the game all over again and after a while, it crashes on launch again.
POV: These problems didn't exist before we had to start using the EA App. Worthless POS ever.
MsKayCeeSim52 yeh, mine was doing a slow degrade over the last month or so... I was having to save the game before moving zones because it was crashing so often, then it just wouldn't launch the Resume game anymore. Then I tried some of the suggested solutions and got this new problem.
