Performance on GTX770 2GB

Anyone else getting quite poor FPS with this card? All my other PC parts should be fine, although I have only 8 GB ram. Even with the optimized GeForce Experience settings this game gives me quite the poor FPS...Many have said they get constant 60 FPS with weaker cards...is this game that much ram heavy? My CPU is i74770k, so that should not be a problem...

  • I'v got the same problem with a GTX770 4GB, i got 8GB Ram aswell.

I have 50-60fps but if i look to the east/left, it drops to 8fps. Dosn't matter where i am, which area/map im in. Settings dosn't matter, it goes down to 8fps on low and ultra.

My two friends got gtx 670 and 760 and play just fine on high settings.

  • Actually my GPU feels really hot after playing, and I've heard that this happens to a lot of people. My CPU has its default fan, I'm going to change it ASAP. The FPS is mostly tolerable but it still breaks the immersion by fluctuating so much. Hinterlands has been the worst, for everyone I think. I just hope that this infamous DA:I patch 2 gets patched ASAP. Or at least I hope a hotfix is on its way...

  • I've been watching gpu ram usage for around 30 minutes and the most it reached was around 2.7GB at western approach at the time on fade touched/ultra settings, so if you have 2GB gpu ram try high settings maybe? I'll look at other areas later.
  • Oh, okay, thanks. It's 4 GB GPU then for me at some point, 2 GB seems to be kinda weak nowadays...
